COVID vaccines will be administered in Tangipahoa Parish on Thursday, February 11th from 10 am-2 pm at Tangipahoa Parish Florida Parishes Arena at 1301 NW Central Avenue in Amite.
They anticipate only 100 vaccinations. This will be a drive through vaccination site. People can pre-register using the following link: https://laredcap.oph.dhh.la.gov/surveys/?s=RCD74AWXHH. They can also call any of the Region 9 Parish Health Units for assistance with registration, if they do not have access to the internet and/or have technology challenges. People who arrive without an appointment may not be vaccinated, and they must meet the current vaccination priority groups to be vaccinated.
