Restaurant stats are looking better with 53% saying they feel safe with outdoor dining and 42% who are comfortable with indoor dining.
The St Tammany Chamber of Commerce cited the latest Gulf South Index report showing recent data on how consumers in this region feel about reengaging in leisure activities. Nearly 60% of consumers are not participating in crowded activities. Restaurant stats are looking better with 53% saying they feel safe with outdoor dining and 42% who are comfortable with indoor dining. Only 25% of respondents said they would feel comfortable at a movie theater. Almost 1 in 3 said they will be throwing or attending a Super Bowl party or catching the game at a bar this year. And just over one in three said they feel safe taking a vacation and staying in a major hotel chain.
