Dept of Health Update

Yesterday, the Louisiana Department of Health reported 3,868 new #COVID19 cases. Of those cases, 2,346 were confirmed and 1,522 were probable cases. 98% of the cases were community spread. 2% were in congregate settings. Individuals between the ages of 18 and 29 (18%) and between the ages of 30 and 39 (16%) account for 34% of these cases. There were 67 deaths reported yesterday, bringing the current total death count to 8,688. There were 1,625 people in hospitals and 203 required ventilators.
