Yesterday, the Louisiana Department of Health reported 2,075 new #COVID19 cases. Of those cases, 1,931 were confirmed and 144 were probable. This report included data from January 24 and January 25. 97% of the cases reported were community spread. 3% were in congregate settings. Individuals between the ages of 18 and 29 (18%) and between the ages of 30 and 39 (16%) accounted for 34% of these cases. 25 new deaths were reported to the state, bringing the current total death count to 8,590. There were 1,638 people in hospitals and 219 who required ventilators.
