Hammond BBQ Inc. has announced alternate plans for the Hammond BBQ Challenge. In order to continue its fundraising efforts, the organization will have a drive thru BBQ sale on March 27. The organization will offer whole pork butts, half pans of pulled pork and half and full racks of ribs for pick up in the parking lot across from The Steakhouse in downtown Hammond Eric Phares said they hope to continue their mission to help local charities through this one-day event until they can return to the full weekend of activities in years to come. Tickets are available for pre-sale only until March 24. Donations can also be made through the website. Sales will benefit approximately 15 local charities. Visit hammondbbq.com to order your BBQ.
