In Partnership with the Louisiana Department of Health and the Louisiana National Guard, free COVID-19 testing will be available to both the residents of Tangipahoa Parish and Southeastern Louisiana University Students on the following dates and times. The location will be in the large parking lot to the east of the University Center and behind the Alumni Center just off of West University Avenue and General Pershing Drive. Testing will be Tuesday, Jan 19th through Friday, Jan 22nd; and continue Monday, Jan 25 through Friday, Jan 29th. Testing will be done from 9am until 4pm.
Those wishing to be tested are highly encouraged to pre-register. The preregistration site is: Health.QuestDiagnostics.com/STLOU. You can also be registered on site. The site will use a self-administered nasal swab test that will allow those being tested to swab their own nose which will be observed by a trained medical volunteer to ensure the sample is taken correctly. Those being tested will need to wear a mask and socially distant at the test site. Your test results will be sent to you through the secure MyQuest online portal or app.
