The Southeastern Louisiana University Alumni Association is seeking energetic, action-oriented volunteers to fill four director positions on the Alumni Association Board of Directors. Executive Director of Alumni Relations Michelle Biggs said board members commit their time and expertise to fulfill the association’s mission of strengthening ties between the university, alumni and community. Biggs said in order to be eligible to serve on the board as a director, individuals must be a graduate of Southeastern, serve on a volunteer basis for a two-year term, attend quarterly board meetings in Hammond; serve on a committee; have a history of involvement, support, and commitment to Southeastern.

The completed nomination form must be submitted electronically no later than Friday, Feb. 12, along with a resume or brief biography. Letters of recommendation from active alumni are also encouraged. Incomplete nominations or nominations received after the deadline will not be accepted.
