STHS Update

As of yesterday, St. Tammany Health System had 60 patients in COVID care, and since the pandemic began we have discharged 803 patients from COVID care. COVID continues to be present and on the rise across the Northshore. They ask everyone to do all they can to slow and control the spread of this disease. Mask up, wash your hands, cover your cough, keep a social distance and isolate when you’re ill. In addition to the steps we all know and should follow daily, they now have lifesaving vaccines beginning to rollout into the community. STHS is well underway with staff inoculation, so we are now sharing our supply with community medical providers and elders 70 and above. Those who qualify can schedule in MyChart or call 985-898-4001 (press 1). Vaccination for the public is through the Express Care Clinic, 71338 Hwy 21, Covington, and requires an appointment.
