Dept of Health Update

Yesterday, the Louisiana Department of Health reported 4,454 new #COVID19 cases. Of those cases, 3,585 were confirmed cases and 869 were probable. The vast majority (95%) of the new cases were tied to COVID spreading in communities, rather than in congregate settings like nursing homes. Another 50 #COVID deaths were reported, bringing the death toll to 7,635. There were 1,974 people in hospitals with 205 patients requiring ventilators.
