The St. Tammany Sheriff’s Office requested the public’s assistance in obtaining information about a shooting which occurred in the Lacombe area early Monday. At approximately 2 a.m., STPSO deputies were dispatched to the 26000 block of Jackson Street in Lacombe in reference to a white male who had what appeared to be a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. The call came shortly after the Sheriff’s Office received numerous calls of gunshots being heard in the area of West Spruce Street. The man was transported to a local area hospital. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office by calling (985) 898-2338.
