The Louisiana Department of Health reported 3,851 #COVID19 cases yesterday. Of these cases, 2,988 were confirmed cases and 863 were probable cases. 95% of the cases reported were community spread. 5% of the cases reported were in congregate settings. Individuals between the ages of 18 and 29 and between the ages of 30 and 39 accounted for 34% of the cases. 31 deaths were reported, bringing the current total death count to 6,964. 1,602 people were in hospitals, which is higher than the peak of the summer surge and is the highest it has been since early May. 169 people required ventilators.
