Slidell Memorial also joined other local entities to express their condolences over the passing of Caleb Page. Caleb was an NHS graduate who was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer. His brother, Joshua, is an NHS JROTC Panther Battalion Senior Cadet. During the month of October, Slidell PD held the “pink car” fundraiser to benefit the SMH Regional Cancer Center. The young men and women of NHS JROTC came together, in conjunction with Caleb’s family, and raised $25,275 in Caleb’s honor. Slidell Memorial said so many patients at the SMH Regional Cancer Center will be blessed by this money and Caleb’s kindness and generosity will not be forgotten.
