In the double homicide case in Lacombe warrants were issued for the arrests of Renard Causey Sr. and Jason Leblanc, both of Lacombe, for two counts each of First Degree Murder and one count each of Armed Robbery and one count each of Home Invasion related to their acts which resulted in the death of the other two co-perpetrators. Both men will be booked into the St. Tammany Parish Jail upon their release from local hospitals. As of yesterday Leblanc was listed in critical condition, and Causey was listed in stable condition. Authorities said the homeowner will not be charged at this time. These charges stem from a case in Lacombe in which two of four armed intruders were killed.
The St. Tammany Coroner’s office has identified the deceased as 25 YO Renard Causey Jr. and 21 YO Justin Hill, both of Hammond.
