Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff Daniel Edwards announced the arrest of a Mississippi father and daughter following a traffic stop that led TPSO Narcotics agents to approximately four- and one-half ounces of meth.
On November 30, TPSO agents conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on US Hwy 190 near Alligator Drive. During the traffic stop, agents obtain written consent to search the vehicle from the driver, 60-year-old Eugene Thomas Frith. As result of the search, agents discovered the suspected meth, a marijuana cigarette, and an assortment of drug paraphernalia. Agents further learned the passenger of the vehicle, 24-year-old Eva Donn Frith had concealed narcotics on her person at the time of the stop. A search on Eva Donn Frith’s person resulted in the seizure of over three ounces of meth.
Both individuals now face numerous charges.
