The Louisiana Department of Health reported 2,073 #COVID19 cases yesterday. Of those cases, 1,755 are confirmed cases and 318 are probable cases. 91% of the cases were community spread. 9% of the cases were in congregate settings. Individuals between 18-29 represent 22% of these cases. 27,961 new tests have been reported to the state, 25,487 were PCR tests and 2,474 were antigen tests. 15 deaths were reported to the state bringing the current total death count to 6,199. 929 people are in hospitals with 88 requiring ventilators. This week St Tammany is reporting a 6.1% positivity, up from 4.9%. Tangipahoa is reporting a 12.2% positivity, up from 8.7%. Washington is reporting 8.4% positivity, up from 6.4%. And Livingston Parish is reporting a14.6% positivity, up from 10.8%.
