Dept of Health Update

Yesterday the Louisiana Department of Health reported 740 new #COVID19 cases. 90% of the cases reported to the state were community spread. 10% of the cases were in congregate settings. People aged 29 and under represent 33% of these cases. 22% are individuals between 18-29. 20 deaths reported to the state, bringing the current total death count to 5,766. 636 Louisiana residents with COVID are in the hospital, while 82 require ventilators.
