Camp Salmen Reopened; New Hours

Camp Salmen Nature Park in the Slidell area reopened yesterday after extensive cleanup from Hurricane Zeta. Parish Government asks that patrons please refrain from using areas that remain closed. Last week Parish President Mike Cooper announced the official opening of the Tammany Trace Extension into Camp Salmen, as well as new park hours — seven days per week from 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Camp Salmen Nature Park is located at 35122 Parish Parkway in Slidell.
