In St. Tammany and Washington Parishes, incumbent DA Warren Montgomery was re-elected Tuesday carrying 64 percent, or almost 92,000 votes. Opponent Vincent Wynne got 36 percent of the vote or almost 53,000 ballots.
Also, Ellen Creel won her bid for the 22nd Judicial District Court bench. Creel received 63 percent of the vote compared to opponent Richard Ducote’s 37 percent.
