Around 5:00 p.m. on October 30, deputies with the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office were contacted by Tangipahoa 911 about a possible abduction. Sheriff Jason Ard says, ‘The suspect allegedly kidnapped two juvenile females at gun point. As the suspect traveled from Livingston Parish into Tangipahoa Parish, the suspect’s vehicle was involved in a single vehicle crash. Following the crash, the suspect – as well as the victims – were transported to the hospital for injuries related to the accident.’ Albert Lawrence Lavigne, Jr. was taken into custody by TPSO as a fugitive from LPSO. Lavigne will be booked at the Livingston Parish Detention Center on 2 counts of Second Degree Kidnapping.
