Washington St Tammany Electric reports that of their 51,534 members, at the height of the outages from Hurricane Zeta, over 13,000 were without power Wednesday night. As of 5 pm on Thursday, only 917 were still without power, only 6 of these are in Washington Parish, the remaining 916 are in St Tammany, mostly in the Southeastern section of the parish where the most damage was reported. These outages are primarily in parts of Slidell and the Pearl River area off of 41, with clusters in Abita Springs and Mandeville, and near the parish line. WSTE workers are being assisted by crews from other areas, including lineworkers and contractors to repair and restore service to these areas.
