All STPPS schools and offices are closed Wednesday due to potential impacts from Hurricane Zeta. This closure includes the STPPS Virtual School. This decision was made in close communication with St. Tammany Parish Emergency Preparedness Officials and the National Weather Service.
All Tangipahoa Parish public school students will work virtually on Wednesday, Oct. 28, due to weather associated with Tropical Storm Zeta. Superintendent Melissa Stilley said with the storm approaching and in an abundance of caution, the Pre-K to 8th grade students will also work virtually tomorrow on Wednesday. Stilley said 12 month employees will report to work as usual. The district’s 9 month employees will work remotely. Stilley said all after school activities scheduled for Wednesday have been canceled.
