New Orleans entered Phase 3.2 of reopening Saturday, and by Sunday officials were already warning of consequences against those who were not following the new rules. The mayors office lashed out on Twitter saying that businesses not in compliance with Phase 3.2 guidelines would be met with enforcement, adding that any actions that led to super spreader events would not be condoned. City hall said that while there were violations, most were following the guidelines. The City said they were aware of crowds gathering in the French Quarter, and that they had complaints that some bars were allegedly not obeying outdoor gathering limits and closing times.
