Tangipahoa Parish Road and Bridge crews plan to complete two culvert and ditch improvement projects east of the river next week. Tangipahoa Parish President Robby Miller said crews will be working on Monday, Oct. 19, to change culverts and clean roadside ditches on Belle Garner Road and Straughan Nursery Road. Due to the extent of the work involved, both roadways will be closed to traffic during the repair process. Belle Garner will be closed just north of North Snow Creek Road while Straughan Nursery Road will be closed from approximately two-tenths of a mile south of Cory Road.
