The Lion Athletics Association and the Hammond Downtown Development District will host Fall Fest in Friendship Circle on Saturday, Oct. 24. The event is scheduled for 1:30 – 4:30 p.m. Children will be able to participate in Trunk-or-Treat around Friendship Circle, as well as face painting and taking pictures with SLU student-athletes and mascot, Roomie the Lion. Those interested in serving as a Trunk-or-Treat car for the event can register at www.lionsports.net/fallfest. Prizes will be given for the best decorated car and best Halloween costume. Face coverings will be required at the event to comply with COVID-19 protocols.
