The New Orleans Saints informed season ticket holders that New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell has denied the team’s request to host fans at the Superdome for Monday night’s football game against the Chargers. The Saints say they hope to have fans at the next home game on October 25th. Tourism officials complain that other NFL cities are hosting fans with success. One tourism official said that on a normal Saint game day, fans spent about $150 million dollars in the local hospitality industry.
