The St. Tammany Parish Department of Public Works will open six self-serve sandbag locations. All locations (with the exception of the Old Levee District Site) will have personnel on-hand to assist the elderly or infirmed. All will remain open until 6 p.m. All locations will be open Wednesday, October 7, and Thursday, October 8, 2020 at 7 a.m. and remain open until 6 p.m.
The Sandbag Locations are the St. Tammany Parish Government- Building on Koop Dr. in Mandeville; the Airport Road Barn on Grantham College Rd in Slidell; the Old Levee District Site on Military Road in Slidell; the Fritchie Barn on Highway 1090 in Pearl River; the Keller Barn on Fish Hatchery Road in Lacombe; and the Covington Barn on N. Florida Street in Covington.
