Dept of Health Update

The Louisiana Department of Health reported 553 #COVID19 cases reported to the state yesterday. The collection dates for most of these cases fall between September 21 and September 28. 93% of the cases reported to the state were community spread. People aged 29 and under represent 41% of these cases. 30% are individuals between 18-29. There were 10 more deaths reported to the state, bringing the current total death count to 5,308. 578 people are hospitalized with 80 of them requiring ventilators.
