Since 1976, Junior Auxiliary of Hammond has inducted an outstanding Man and Woman into our Hall of Fame. Honorees are those who volunteer their time and energy to better the lives of children in the community and improve our community as a whole.
In 2019, Rob Carlisle and Sylvia Bush were chosen as the community’s outstanding Man and Woman of the Year. Nominations for the 2020 Outstanding Man and Woman are due Wednesday, September 30th. An eligible nominee is an individual who has accomplished an outstanding humanitarian and /or civic deed for the benefit of children in the Greater Hammond area and cannot have been compensated monetarily for their service.
