Five current administrators in the St Tammany School System have thrown their hats in the ring to be considered for the district’s vacant superintendent position. The school board is scheduled to vote today on the criteria and guidelines they will use in making the selection. The applicants include Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum Aimee Lemane. Dorable Dangerfield is a supervisor in the same department. Corwin Robinson heads up the district’s alternative school program. Covington High Principal Robert DeRoche and Northshore Principal Frank Jabbia are also in the running. All are seeking to replace Try Folse, who left to go to work for the state superintendent of education after ten years of leading the St Tammany schools.
