Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff Daniel Edwards reports the arrest of 39 -year-old Juemichael Young of Hammond. On September 3, Young was arrested in Livingston Parish and charged with being a fugitive from Tangipahoa Parish. Young faces Attempted Second Degree Murder charges for a shooting that occurred on Sept. 2nd, at a residence on Willow Villa Dr. in Hammond. When deputies arrived on scene, they located male subject with a gunshot to the leg. Deputies administered aid until medical services arrived and transported the victim to an area hospital. The shooter was identified as 39 –year-old Juemichael Young. TPSO Detectives obtained a warrant for Young’s arrest. Young was subsequently located at a residence in Denham Springs.
