Due to the storm, COVID Testing has been paused in some parts of the state. Yesterday it was reported that there were 723 more cases of coronavirus in the state, for a total of 145,637. Another 23 deaths brought that total to 4,711. The Louisiana Department of Health says delays will affect the update on the number of hospitalized COVID 19 patients right now. Louisiana’s statewide 211 network is now answering calls about COVID-19 from Louisiana residents who have questions.
