I-10 Closed in SW Louisiana

Gov. John Bel Edwards said the state closed I-10 outside of Lafayette all the way into part of Texas, because stretches of road within that area were expected to flood. Yesterday Louisiana transportation officials started diverting traffic off the interstate in Texas and Mississippi to I-20 and other routes to help reduce the traffic near the coast during the evacuation.
