Laura Forecast to Reach Cat 4

As of the 4 AM Advisory Hurricane Laura continues to rapidly intensify over the Gulf of Mexico. Max winds are not 110 MPH and Laura is expected to strengthen to a Cat 4 status before striking somewhere in SW Louisiana or E Texas. Winds at landfall could be 130 MPH. This is growing into a large storm and we will see periods of heavy rain. A Flash Flood Watch has been issued.
