COVID Testing has been affected in some parts of the state as we await the arrival of Laura. The count of new coronavirus cases in Louisiana increased by 717. Officials say there have been 33 more COVID deaths, bringing the total to 4,656. There are also nine fewer coronavirus patients in hospitals across the state. 930 are hospitalized with 141 on vents.
