Sheriff Jason Ard says Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Agents recently received tips from citizens, who wished to remain anonymous, regarding narcotics activity in or around Albany. On August 19, agents conducted surveillance in the specified areas and were able to initiate several narcotics-related investigations. The following individuals are currently in the Livingston Parish Detention Center as a result of the investigations on various charges: James Brown, Delores Brewer, Jesse Cantrell III, David Whitehead, and Alonzo Bowman. Items seized as a result of those investigations included Methamphetamine, Heroin, a stolen gun and more. Ard says more arrests are expected.
