The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office is looking for information regarding a shooting that occurred Saturday around 7:30 p.m. on Vernon Town Rd. in Roseland. Multiple gunmen opened fire in a large crowd during a trail ride event. One person was killed and several were wounded. Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Investigators say a crowd of more than 100 had gathered for the event when the gunfire rang out.
The Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with information regarding this tragic event to please come forward with information. TPSO Detective Matt Dean is the lead investigator.
