Mississippi Orders Extended Due to Spike

In Mississippi Gov. Tate Reeves said two COVID-19 executive orders set to expire today will be extended because Mississippi continues to see a spike in the spread of the virus. Reeves said he will extend his Safe Return order as well as an executive order that places enhanced restrictions in 13 counties, including a mask mandate. Hinds, Rankin and Madison counties are included in the order. Reeves said the orders will likely be extended for at least another two weeks.
