Dept of Health Update

On Monday, the Louisiana Department of Health reported 1,710 cases reported to the state since July 12. There were 7 deaths reported to the state. The current total death count is 3,315. The collection dates for most of these cases fall between July 6, 2020 and July 13, 2020. 94% of the cases reported to the state today were community spread. 35% of the cases reported today are of individuals aged 29 and under. 1,308 residents are hospitalized, 142 are now on vents. Louisiana’s statewide 211 network is now answering calls about COVID-19 from Louisiana residents who have questions.
