Hammond Police say both suspects from the incident that left two troopers injured have now been arrested. Yesterday, 18 YO Nathan Anding, of Holden was caught, joining 26 YO Taylor Cox, of Hammond, facing charges related to the pursuit. Earlier this week, after pursuit of their vehicle, an HPD unit struck two troopers who were retrieving a tire deflation device from the road. Anding and Cox escaped that pursuit but are now facing a host of charges including Hit and Run, Negligent Injury, Driving without a License, Switched License Plates, Domestic Abuse Battery, Resisting an Officer, and Possession with the Intent to Distribute and more.
HPD thanks a host of agencies including Louisiana State Police, U.S. Marshals Service Task Force, Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office, Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office, Department of Homeland Security, DEA, U.S. Secret Service, Louisiana Attorney General’s Office, Killian Police Department, Ponchatoula Police Department, and Springfield Police Department.
